"One old Chinese proverb says that “not the cry, but the flight of a wild duck, leads the flock to fly and follow”. This is another way to stress that actions speak louder than words. To be successful means to know how to do what is important rather than just talk about it. Our MBA program is truly practical in many dimensions. It focuses on new technologies in contemporary business allowing you to understand what new trends really bring about. It consists of only four 5-day modules making professional and family obligations easier to combine with studies. It gives you a chance to learn from great experts, verify your experience and make life-lasting friendships with your classmates. Write to us to find out how you may join the program."

MBA for PhD

The MBA for PhD program is carried out within the MBA – Innovation and Data Analysis postgraduate studies.
The MBA for PhD program is addressed to doctoral students in Poland enrolled in PhD programs in Polish universities or research institutes regardless of specialization and citizenship. Selection of the candidates is based on assessment of a business plan they are required to submit. The business plan should include either a description of business application of the results of doctoral research or an attempt of applying the concept of PhD dissertation to practical use or an outline of an idea for a startup. The accepted candidates shall receive the funding covering half of the tuition fee.
Through SWPS University and its Partners the MBA for PhD program also provides an opportunity to establish contacts with entrepreneurs and learn from them about implementation of ideas and projects in business. Many doctoral students in Poland entertain original and promising visions and designs that are never realized in practice. To a considerable extent this is explained by the lack of skills and competencies on the part of doctoral students in the area of setting up an enterprise, running a business venture, and shaping a business strategy. This is why one of the key tasks of the MBA for PhD program is filling up this gap.
Therefore, the MBA for PhD program carried out within the MBA – Innovation and Data Analysis program aims at, among others, supporting young talents in various regions of the country and in various disciplines so that doctoral students could successfully realize their ideas concerning technological innovations, industrial modernization, medical advances, etc. The knowledge and competencies acquired during the course of studying in our MBA program will enable young people to implement their projects effectively in all sectors of the economy.
The MBA studies will let you gain practical knowledge and skills in understanding information systems, business planning, innovation projects and cooperation routs between a modern enterprise and the research and development sector. Some legal issues of innovation companies will be discussed too. Special attention will be given to business environment with its ever changing and demanding aspects.
New technologies redefine how new products are manufactured and services delivered. They also alter the essentials of market functioning. An increasing number of goods and services will be designed and offered to a specially targeted group of customers. The accumulated data will allow for meticulous profiling. And success in profiling will mean success in business. Data will therefore become the most precious commodity in the emerging new economy. We do not have a crystal ball to tell how the future will unfold in a precise manner. We are sure, however, that finishing our MBA program will definitely equip you with practical sensitivity to signals that bode favorable developments.
