Practical management skills
During the course of study, you will learn the latest management methods and you will acquire skills indispensable for any manager. Our program includes carefully selected subjects without any unnecessary components. We believe in active learning through experience and experimentation. Students learn through workshops, group projects, discussions, debates and simulations.

Problem diagnosis, creative thinking
Modern organizations require that their managers provide creative approaches to management, effectively identify constantly changing needs of the digital world, are able to diagnose problems, and implement innovative programs. We show our students how to lead such projects. During classes, together with industry experts, we analyze various business scenarios and develop optimal solutions.

Experts in organizational psychology
The economy, business, and management are not always ruled by rational and quantifiable factors. Organizations consist of people, not only employees, but also clients and customers. Therefore, our program includes elements of psychology, which will allow you to understand peoples’ motivations and will give you tools for building good relationships, identifying needs and conflict resolution.

How to start a company
Organizational management, developing a business plan
We will show you how to start your own company. You will learn what a start-up is, how to get financing to implement an interesting idea, and how to develop a good business plan. You will become familiar with the latest management models, basics of managerial economy, and financial accounting. -
Brand management
Branding and marketing strategies
You will learn how to create a company image and develop effective marketing strategies. You will find out how to develop marketing ideas and manage the marketing process with the use of the latest tools. -
How digital business works
New technologies and business processes
You will be introduced to key technologies and learn how to scale a business, a skill necessary for managing a company and evidence based business planning (big data). You will learn what a platform business model is and how to grow your sales effectively, using online selling channels. -
Evidence-based management
Business analytics and operational management
Organizational management requires an ability to assess clients’ needs and business capabilities of the company. You will learn how to acquire, analyze and report business data with the use of the latest computational tools. You will gain business statistics skills.
Projects in cooperation with business partners
You will graduate with a portfolio of group projects, developed under the guidance of business and academic mentors. The projects are not just theoretical case studies, but real projects commissioned by our business and organizational partners.
Social Project
Semester 3
Students are presented with a significant social problem. They conduct microanalysis of the situation and make a diagnosis. They offer solutions and observe how the proposed solutions are received by the affected community. Students learn effective team work.
Organizational development project
Semester 4
Following the requirements defined by one of the program’s business partners, students analyze development options of a selected organization. They assess opportunities, threats and risks related to the proposed solution, and evaluate costs and benefits of a potential real life implementation of the project.
Organizational improvement project
Semester 5
Students become familiar with an organization and diagnose problems related to a process in a selected area. They analyze good practices developed by other organizations around the world, and then propose improvements aligned with the specifics and capabilities of the client.

Start-ups
If you dream of launching a start-up, this specialization is for you. You will learn to:
- Evaluate and verify new business ideas

- Create and develop innovative ideas in your own start-ups
- Develop business strategy and improve your own management kills.

Project management
If you want to be a successful project manager, this specialization is for you. You will learn to:
- Apply traditional and agile project management methods to manage all kinds of projects
- Use project management systems, project planning and progress monitoring tools to keep your projects on track
- Apply creative problem solving and flexible thinking methods in situations that require you to align the strategy to the changing business environment
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with your teammates, stakeholders, and other interested parties.

Requirements
- Secondary school/high-school diploma, including transcrip (translator-signed translation of the diploma into English or Polish is required if the diploma was issued in a language other than Polish, English, Russian, and Ukrainian).
- Medical insurance policy or a declaration of enrollment in Poland's National Health Fund.
- English proficiency certificate:
- CEFR B2 or mandatory participation in an interview assessing English proficiency.
- For holders of the Polish secondary school diploma (matura): basic level – minimum 90%, extended level – minimum 60%.
- Holders of the so-called "polska stara matura" should provide a CEFR B2 certificate.

The application fee is non-refundable unless: the program of study that you applied to has been cancelled (except when you decide to enroll in a different program of study at SWPS University).
